Andragogy and connectivism are learning theories that I feel align best with my minicourse. Being able to focus on the creation of a learning experiences that are focused around the learning goals and are geared towards adult learners is important and relevant with my target audience. Authentic experiences will be embedded which andragogy and connectivism both focus on learners experiencing real life scenarios and making the connections of what they are learning to their own personal lives.

I want to give learners opportunities to adapt based on their personal needs. The course will be personal for everyone based on what they are wanting to accomplish, encourage reflection so that the learners become self aware and are able to make the necessary adjustments in their lives.

Activities are student centered and the use of technology will be beneficial for learners. I want to also ensure flexibility so that adjustments can be made in real time to benefit the learners. I want to be able to give learners opportunities to provide feedback so that they are getting a positive and enriching learning experience.
